I’ve been watching the Biggest Loser this season and while the drama is getting on my nerves, I have really been loving the idea of themes.
What about a personal theme of the week.. Something to tell yourself and focus on for the next 7 days to keep you strong, keep you focused, and keep you moving forward.
I’m thinking about coming up with this personal theme each week, sometimes it may be a word, sometimes it may be a phrase or even a quote. Fitness related, life related, or even a little bit of both.
I mean a little extra positivity (yes, that is apparently a word that I’m making up seeing as there is a nice red line under it!) can’t hurt, right? Maybe I’ll hang a dry erase board in the bathroom and change the theme each week.. that could be fun
Anyway, we’ll see how it goes. I may post them up here and play it by ear. It could almost be like that song that gets stuck in our head that keeps our feet tapping and keep us moving on.
I will try to start tomorrow .. I’m having a bit of an off week and am still ‘processing’ some personal news. Having a theme may actually be what I need at the moment. For now it’s off to bed.
